Missions

Prior to his ascension into heaven, Jesus told his disciples to “be witnesses to [him] in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8) Since these were Jesus’ last words, it is imperative that we make them our first priority. International Harvest Church has many different ministries that reach its “Jerusalem,” and rightly so. We are called to IMPACT the areas closest to home. But Jesus calls for us to move beyond home to the places farthest away from us. We are called to the whole world and not just the part outside our back door.

The distinction of the missions department is that we seek to minister cross-culturally to IHC’s “Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and End of the Earth.” This means that most of our ministry is directed toward people who are from different cultures and ethnicity. We minister to immigrants in our “Jerusalem” and travel abroad to minister to people in countries all around the world.  Currently international harvest church has partnered with other ministries and missionaries such as Todd and Julie Powers of Power Ministries International ministering to the nations in the TEN-40 window. From India, Pastor Thomas of Christ For India Ministries, other nations in Africa including Kenya and Zambia.
